Below you will find the materials for the virtual Practice Supervisor workshop run by Ros Dray and Fiona Cusack, Bournemouth University.
The virtual package we have put together consists of 3 parts (please click on links to access the resources):
- The role of Placement Supervisor and supporting a learner in practice with BU (recorded session and reflective activities).
- Using supervision to support a student social worker (recorded session and reflective activities)
- Assessment processes / supporting a student relating to BU / opportunities to ask questions – an online interactive session on Thursday, 3rd September 10-12pm with Fiona and Ros hosted in Microsoft Teams.
The 2 recorded sessions are approx. 1 hour each in length. Both sessions have materials to use as reflective tools. These are embedded as worksheets in the powerpoint slides and it is self explanatory once you begin.
They are designed to be done as and when it is convenient to practitioners, but we have a planned online session for Q & A and to go through our assessment processes on 3rd Sept (using Microsoft Teams).
Please note, if there is demand for another date, another session can be arranged.
