Supporting Students to Manage Risk

A CPD Day for Practice Educators and Work Based Supervisors facilitated by the Practice Educator Learning Partnership to include a keynote presentation from Professor Lee-Ann Fenge, Professor of Social Care at Bournemouth University and workshops with Service Users.
Aims and Objectives for the day:
- Explore how confident Practice Educators and Work Based Supervisors are to work with students to manage risk
- Analyse Practice Educator and Work Based Supervisor ability to manage student desire to ‘rescue’
- Evaluate approaches for Practice Educators to support students where they have to relinquish a case.
