Dear Colleagues
On behalf of the Practice Learning Team at Bournemouth University (BU), we want to take the opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to all Practice Educators, Placement Supervisors and Teams who have hosted and supported students in their placements in recent months. Students are now due to take the next step on their journey of academic and practice learning and we are excited to guide them along the way.
We are grateful to have lots of teams who are keen to host and have taken up all offers. If anyone is expecting to host a student but not heard details yet, do remind your manager and the workforce development team that you are available.
Although we understand that frontline practice has changed due to COVID-19, it is also an exciting opportunity to re-imagine ways of working and learning. BU are pleased to be involved in the Teaching Partnership and, along with our Workforce Development partners, we hope to build on that partnership in the future. So, if you or your team are in a position where you feel you can share learning, experience and expertise, we would like to hear from you and consider how the Practice Learning Team and the Teaching Partnership could support a placement with you.
